Collecting a 1.6tdi estate, elegance in the morning

Featured Replies

New (to me ) car being collected tomorrow.  Octavia 1.6tdi CR estate, elegance spec.  A november 2010, 90,000 miles ex fleet, very clean example.

However - only one Key    Dealer Price seems to be over £150 !!!

Hoping someone here will know if this will this work ?? - http://www.ebay.co.u...10293524/g.html

If I buy one of these .. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2326e35085

Or this  http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2326e3509a

Seems to make sense, but am I missing something... can a  £10 - £15 fob and a simple procedure really replace a £150+ dealer purchase??

Over this way, key making shops have copy made keys.

They copy the blade and also have the 3 button shell.

Have no idea the price.

So far so good.

After a couple of weeks, very happy with the car.

Just as responsive/fast as my previous car ( 1.9 tdi Renault)  and a much nicer drive and far, far better build quality.

Had a run out to the coast  last weekend, averaged 65mph, so about 20mph more than the renault with a mix of A roads and the M61/M6.
