is £350 a fair price to pay to have a new clutch fitted to my 1.4 16v 100bhp Fabia and how long is the book time to do the job. As a few people have said the price seems high by my local garage, they are not fitting a genuine skoda part juat an oem one

I'd do it for about £250 - £300.

Don't know what people think of that price, people see cheap crap clutches for £40 and think they can do it on the driveway...

I had a new clutch fitted recently. Bought one from LUK which cost me around £160 including the clutch slave cylinder as it's hydraulic. Paid another £100 to have it fitted. £350 isn't bad.

Trouble is Hutchy, you're in the North East and he's in the South East, here in the South East things are more expensive, £350 seems like a fair price to me.
