Hi All,

Looking on autotraders website it is proving difficult to gauge the value of my car. Seems to range from a woefull 6K up to 8K. Can you give me any help?

Its a Black vrs on a 51 plate with 42,000 miles. Good condition - a few stone chips but no dents or serious damage. Interior has not been tormented by kids or animals! Full dealer service history. Tyres etc OK.

Any ideas for a private sale asking price please? May be comming to a 'for sdale' section near you soon ;)

It would ne nice to get 8k. Not geen on what the glass's guide has to say tho. Still, their prices always seem tight to me. I think they are baes on allowing a dealer to slap some profit on for resale!

Oh yes , that's definately the price that the dealers will offer you so that they can add ther profit on top which on a car like yours will be at least a grand

Yep, ive part exed a furby and an octy at the dealers. when i returned to see what they were selling for i was greeted with - Octy +

just been to the bank today and still owe 9k - ouch. Its all subarus fault, but thats another story :o(
