I'm lost - I've seen a great deal on euro car parts on a Bosch battery - code is 075.

Basically on other sites I'm getting different numbers, my car is 56 plate, 2 litre petrol .....

Is the 075 the right code ?

I put a Bosch S5 096 battery in mine. Fits in fine. Loads of cranking power - 780a cca.

Justcarbatteries website. Was £80 delivered.

That's different dimensions to the S4 - isn't there a definitive list / dimensions for the vrs petrol..?

Isn't there a eurocarpart person on here? Lol

makes it an 027.....

 

Could i use a 075 ? 20mm differance plus they are cheaper £60 v £75

Not sure if this code still works but try SAVE5 and you should get it delivered for £65, the S5 is very good, just fitted this to my 2006 ocy vrs.

You really want more ah than the oem battery and higher cca. Unless you are looking a big money batteries you want the most ah and cca your budget can afford.

ordered an 075 - measured my battery and it was the same size.

What spec did you get? You really want have used it as a chance to get a higher ah battery as people have issues with it being quite low for a derv.

My mums 1.3 cdti corsa has a bigger ah and cca battery than my vrs derv had

I got a 096 fits all octys.

The Bosch S5 (5 year warranty) 096 really is a tremendous battery.

027 was OEM install on tfsi, 096 on tdi. Battery tray fits both, 096 is normally only marginally more expensive but more powerfull. Make your own decision regarding the weight difference. 096 would be my choice. Dale
