Wasn't too keen on the transporter driver trying to tip it into rush hour traffic onto Knaresborough Road either.

Quite some talent to make sure it lands so neatly in that parking space, since it looks like it was going to fall off that truck at any moment. :P

Impressed that it arrives today and you collect tomorrow - my dealer tells me that the turn around (when the dvla release the reg - long story) will be two days!

I had the pleasure of peeling the plastic off too. Better than smashing the seal off a jar of instant coffee. One minor thing. it's got a damaged alloy. Lucky spot. Spent a good half an hour checking it. I think they are just going to order a new one.

I got my reg about two weeks ago. What a f*c7 up. Must be really frustrating.

Another thing that surprised me is that it looks much smaller and compact in red than the three race blue ones I test drove way back in October.

Jealous! I still have my 2008 vRS (brought new) which is an amazing car but, the more I see the new vRS the more I think it's time for an upgrade!

Kind of makes up for the news that my football club is a complete train wreck and is about to go into administration -15 points. Relegation. re-  purchsed for a pound by Ken Bates AGAIN. Ah well I've bought a red car so I can support my friends over at the Old Toilet. Hang on! They are fU7£ED as well :-)

Enjoy the car, sure it will be worth the wait - me I pick up plan b on Saturday, just couldn't wait till june / july .

 

Also every sympathy re your team, my wife grew up watching them with her dad and I can fully empathise with you as my team up here has been and is still being pillaged as I write.
