K-Sport 330 rear 4 pot kit

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm looking at a 356mm or 400mm 8pot front K-Sport brake kit for the Vrs. K-Sport also do a 330mm rear 4pot kit but its for the 4x4 octavia mk1!

I'm wondering if anyone knows if it would fit?

If the 256mm std rears are bolt on for the 4x4 then I'm guessing they should fit right?

Cheers

Mark

Wrong offset

The carrier will sit the caliper a little too far out to meet the disc, iirc

Cheers mate

I might have to get the callipers and discs and get custom adapters made up ;-(

Think it may mess up your cars braking effiency big time

Be interesting to see how it performs as a full kit as rear brakes do very little

Have a look at PB Brakes - they do a full kit to include a rear line linkage for the handbrake...

The PB kit will remove the need for adaptors too... Hope this is helpful

Cheers Tonka.....those PB brakes look pretty good to be honest ;-)

I'm going to email them about pad choices!

Once I make a final decision I'll let you know how things go....

Do you have these fitted ?

K-Sport are no help at all....they don't know if it will fit, despite me asking them to compare the technical measurements of the adapters. Lol

I know the disc will fit!

I know the calliper will fit!

So are the adapters the same? It's not hard is it really?

Looks like I'm coming up with something else! ;-(

VRSMark - PB are fantastic - speak to Dan. They do a great range and the fast road pad would be the best as per mine (they fit most applications). The floating rotors remove all heat build up too. It all depends on budget I know but it's your safety at the end of the day esp if you're bitten by the modifying bug.

VRS Mark/snow-muncher - I've a full 355mm 8 pot set to fit front and rear - am just wearing out my Boxster set first and then the PB set go on in a few weeks when we start mapping again (am running in the new motor at present). It's quality gear though and I'm glad I made the choice... The powder coat is stunning too... Dan will mail over a template to check fit. I'm going to be running 355mm drilled/slotted front and rear with floating rotors on 225/45/18 (the rims have been on a few years with H&R 45mm drop mated to Bilstein B6) with no issues at all - it's a straight swap over with a factory ride.

Yeah ping me a message with what you decide to do :-) I'll ping you some pics when they're bolted on.

VRSMark - there's also no need to panic re messing up your braking efficiency either as PB test their products and you can retain your existing master cylinder... ;-)

Bitten the modifying bug......hmm?

I've eaten the modifying bug and asking for seconds! Lol

Thanks Tonka ;-)

Great stuff! :-)
