Engine Management Light

Featured Replies

I inherited my dad's car when he passed away in November it's a fabia 1.2 classic htp 2006. He always had problems with the engine management light coming on intermittently and the garage could never find any fault. I was thinking about getting a fault reader from eBay but not sure where it plugs in. Can anyone offer any assistance. It has been suggested that the low mileage and use for constant short journeys may have causing this. The battery was replaced in January. Thanks in advance.

The diagnostic plug is behind the cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel below the light switch, open it, push the tab up and it will completely open.
