Anyone got any good tips before I dive in feet first (as I usually tend too)

Prepare to be disappointed. That's my only tip, I was :(

Clean the surface thoroughly (I used Fairy Liquid) and dry it, shake the can very well, then spray 3 coats, leaving 20 minutes between coats, and leave to dry overnight. I did my grill this way and it was absolutely fine, no peeling, no chips, spot on.

I thoroughly cleaned and dried my grille surround then applied 5 coats with about half hour between each. Then left to dry overnight before refitting.

Happy with it overall.

If you only take one bit of advice then let it be this, shake shake and shake some more. Seriously shake the **** out of it all the time, between coats too.

Clean whatever you're spraying really well with degreaser and put the plastidip can in some warm water before you spray it. It comes out much better when it's warm.

It's hard to mess it up the spraying tbh, its one of the most forgiving products I've ever used. 

 Also, shake it like a polaroid picture, shake it, shake it, ohh-ooh. 

Then shake it a bit more aswell

Also warm the can in a bucket of very warm water for ten mins prior to use. And shake the can loads. Three light coats leaving 20 mins in between coats then leave over night. Job done.

Try not to make the coats too thin as well because it can give it a kind of rough sandpaper finish. I find it better to put the first layer on thin then nice thick layers after

And shake it like your trying to lest the last few drops of "yer lad"
