Rapid Sport concept wide body kit

Featured Replies

the last few months i have been debating with myself about modding my Rapid to a Rapid sport concept with wide body kit (wide fenders and hood as seen on Rapid sport concept, and probably some different front bumper center grille design ).

the guy who owns the body shop i always go my cars to, is very talented and i am confident about the final result.

what is holding me back are two things (i leave the factor money, out of the equation :) )

1. this mod could take quite long (more than a month) and i just cant afford to have my Rapid at the body shop for so long since it s my only car where all my little baby girl's stuff can fit into.

2. i am worried about the value of the car when i will want to sell it. Coz with this body kit, the target group will certainly be limited...

any thoughts are appreciated.

p.s. if you have to ask why i would even consider a mod like that to a car like that, pls don't ask. it's a mod thing. you wouldn't understand :)

Sounds awesome. I guess the worry about selling it depends on how long you want to keep it. I doubt you'd ever get your money back but if you're keeping it for 5 years(?) it might be justifiable to you? Comes down to how bad you want it done, and how much enjoyment you'll get out of it when it's done, I'd say.

Sounds like a great project and maybe if the bodyshop is friendly they'd let you so it in stages so it's not off the road for a really long period?
