I tried to activate few functions on VW Polo year 2013 and Skoda Rapid Spaceback year 2014, but they didn't work. Functions were Coming Home, Leaving Home, cornering lights, etc. I was using Long Coding Helper on both cars and just ticking the desired options. The coding was accepted, but the functions were not activated.

Is there some additional procedure to to get functions activated on newer cars?

I was using the latest version of VCDS.

Hi, after you did the coding, did you reset the light menu to factory defaults in the Maxidot? You might need to do it for both keys.

Sadly not. However I locked the doors and waited for a few minutes, though this didn't help.

So, which setting is this in Maxidot? Reset?

Hi, I do not have it in front of me right now but look for the factory reset option in the Maxidot settings menu. It might do the trick for you. If it work for the first key, then redo it for the other one as well. Good luck!
