As above car been for bumper painting now no near side indicator have switched offside bulb and holder holder which is working and still no life near side bulb and holder in offside works fine.

just like to add near side front rear works fine.

There's a chance it could be the contacts in the headlamp housing. Had a similar issue on a mates Polo 9n which had the push and twist type fitting for the bulb. It turned out one of the integral wiring connectors had come off, was just a female spade connector which was a bit fiddly to put back on with the lamp in place but these Octavia lamps come out easy enough.

had headlight out so when i take indicator out is it one of the wires inside or on the 8 pin connector 

i had similar issue recently.  What I didn't know was that when you changed the bulb you have to cycle the headlihght switch.  To make matters worse, the replacement bulbs were faulty so that threw me entirely.  Went back to first principles, check bulbs with my homemade testlight (uses same bulb) & turfed them in the bin.  New bulbs, cycle headlight switch - all fixed.

No wire had snapped inside light like above said drilled hole through indicator holder brought the wire through and connected to holder that way reset with headlights now all ok.
