Some of them do make me laugh....

One on eBay sold for £2,400 this morning.

Another SE for £6500 on autotrader at 65k miles with FSH and cambelt done. £8k seems a bit steep

In comparison.

£8k seems quite a bit but then if people want one bad enough!

I got mine recently with 52k miles and from a main dealer quite a bit cheaper.

In about 3-5 years, I want to get a Mk.1 VRs as I will be able to afford the insurance. I wonder if they will be any decent ones around, after 2018

I am looking to buy my first Karoq but need to be sure it is not a hybrid. I saw a 2023 Karoq which looked of interest but the specification said it had "regeneration facility". I thought that was only done on mild hybrids which I don''t want.. Can someone tell me if any Karoqs are mild hybrids? What Car mag says Skodas don't make hybrids

Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Followed for sometime this morning - Met Black, Orange wheels, side stipe and Orange rear wing outer tips. Drove with my window down, for several miles on this gorgeous morning, just listening to the fantastic sound ,under load and on overrun ! I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. That was diagnosed as having a carbon build-up. I don’t want to have the same issue occurring with the Fabia. As the CTHE is direct injection and has done 41k miles I’m guessin

Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!
