Damn you Skoda......

For making me buy ANOTHER Superb  :giggle:

Candy white CR170 Elegance Combi - Facelift

Standard spec plus spare wheel with the usual 3T VCDS mods:

Aussie instruments for large MPH readout

Cruise display enabled (it now works on the FL cluster, I could never get it to work on my previous MY11 Superb)

Fog lights for CH/LH lights

Needless to say I love it. I was reluctant with going for white but the car looks great in that colour. I'm also missing the Bilstein B6 shockers I had on my old car.

I think rear window tints may be next on the mod list.

Oh yes, very nice.

With the smart alloys too - scottprague needn't worry anymore!

And in the best colour - tints are a must with the white but then I'm biased.

Can you do the Aussie coding on the FL - I read somewhere that you couldn't, but could be wrong?

Cruise display enabled? Whereabouts on the MaxiDot. My MY11 shows the cruise symbol when it's on.

The cruise display is at the bottom of the maxidot on the left hand side. I could never get it to work on my pre FL but it worked on SWMBO's old Yeti.

You get a cruise symbol on the screen with your set speed which is larger when active, then it gets a little smaller when the cruise is deactivated because it becomes your 'res' (resume) speed.

This is in additon to the green cruise symbol you get at the top where the headlight and fog light symbols appear.

I'll get a pic of it later on if anyone is interested.

The Aussie coding is indeed working on mine, I get the large MPH readout in the middle of the maxidot.

Yes, he is closer to you than me, they are safe for teh time being.

Welcome to the White club:

Lovely choice and looks very well in white!  Definitely go for the tint in the rear just to really set it off

Cheers

Yours looks really good with the tints as well. I'm already making enquiries.

And now it looks like i'll be doing a wheel inspection on my car every morning to ensure it still has the Trinitys fitted  :giggle:

The Trinity's really do suit the car, hope they are still around when I come to replace next year.

I can't see why not, they look great on the FL.

I'm debating whether to get them sprayed anthracite as featured in the brochure somewhere.

Saying that, I don't want a wannabe vRS on my hands. The neighbours are already confused...... :giggle:

This is mine with the tints, maybe not much difference ?

I suppose it depends on the level of tint. I'm probably going a bit darker than the factory sunset option. I carry expensive gear in the boot so darker tints make more sense for me.

Changing the subject to the cruise display, the attachment shows what appears when enabled via VCDS.post-6717-0-76281900-1395767849_thumb.jpg

I like that, looks like i am going to have to get myself some VCDS kit and start playing. Looking at VCDS list seems i am in a black hole for members with the kit.

It's an Outdoor, but these are the wheels in Anthracite!

^^ Coloured wheels go nicely with the additional dark trim IMO. Very nice.

It'll never sit that low in reality though!

See what you mean now - and that's do able in VCDS?

Not in UK spec! The Czechs get optional sports suspension on all Superbs, and the Outdoor packager is available on any Superb Combi model...annoyingly!

We only get the 140tdi manual 4x4 , and 170tdi dsg 4x4.

I agree getting them changed to anthracite will make it look very nice :)

I could go with a 170 4x4 DSG next time round - now that the emissions are lower.

Fully kitted it's about 36k on the configurator. :)

Just depends whether the emissions are low enough in our company car policy. Limit is either 150 or 140g/km. But then again there are also 5 Series and XF to contend with.

Yep, it's in '17 - Instruments' > adaptation > cruise control display (or similar). Works on my MY14 but never worked on my MY11 Superb.

The 'Aussie mod' has worked on both MY11 and 14 cars.

dstev2000, thats a lovely car you have there...

Enjoy
