Can anyone explain how to reset the service indicator on a 1.6 TDI OCTAVIA on a 10 plate. The car is on yearly service which i plan to do myself this time.

 

Sorry have looked on site and found several different methods.

Press trip button in turn ignition on let go of button and turn to the right spanner should be gone.

I tried it before and it didn't work.

Any other methods?

I have not tried yet will do next week after i service it.,

I did it this afternoon. Same procedure, worked as described in the FM.
