As per title, is this possible on a MKII Fabia and where exactly I will find it?

 

Obviously I don't want the door to pop out by just unlocking all doors but only when I press the boot door unlock button which I've pressed maybe twice in 3 years. I am guessing this would also be the first step to get fully automatic boot door opening by installing boot dampers later on, seems like a pretty handy feature but for the time being, a simple pop out would be nice.

If you mean pressing and holding the middle button on the key it unlocks and pops the boot off the latch, if it had very strong dampers then in theory it would open it all the way

If I find out that all this time all i needed to do to pop the boot off the latch was to long-press the boot unlock button I will...grrrrr!

PS. Long-pressing on the middle button was indeed what I was looking to do through VCDS

There is a thread about making this happen on Octy2 Estates. Came down to fitting a pair of springs on the struts
