what number vrs?

Featured Replies

Is there anyway at all to see what number your car was of the production line?? Random question I know. Just wanted to know if anybody knew the answer?

Vin No. I guess but that would need everyone supplying theirs and then to collate the info.

Registration Date in UK might give a rough guide.

Think the VIN No. is key.

Skoda might tell you how many they produced.

What you can check in the UK with

http://howmanyleft.co.uk

is how many they first registered in the UK each Quarter.

ie

3rd Quarter & 4th 2010, around 200. then 1st, 2nd etc quarter 2011,  200, 300 per quarter,

2012, less, 2013 back to 200 a quarter.

Till you get to the figure vrskeith has of 2,600 odds or what ever

Then you have the 3 other

June 2010 and yours is one of the very first builds they only went on sale in June,

PM me the reg and i might know if it was a Media/Promotion car.

Does yours show in 'Google Images'. A few there that were used for Photo Shoots.

Quite a few June 2010- Early 2011 cars had engine work done when sold to first Private customers after 4,000 miles or so, these were Dealer Demonstrators mostly..

???

What does your Warranty Record show for anything that required doing in the first 2 years.?

It should have had an ECU update if not at the first Oil Change if that was when the Dealer Sold as a

Demonstrator at 3,000-4,000 miles, then at 1 year old, or 2 year old as a certinty,

at the Inspection Service.

Mk2 Fabia vRS : 2686 at the end of February 2014.

Hatch : 2268

Estate:418

Heading towards 500 that have had problems. That's a lot of ****ed of Customers even at low volume.

A rejection rate in  Quality Manufacturing terms, is rubbish at 5%,SO WHAT WOULD YOU CALL THIS??

Have I been counted in that number vrskeith? Not added my name to the engine replacement thread yet. Thar will be done when I get it back....

I havent got the car at the moment george so cant look at service history. From what I can remember though it doesnt state anywhere about an ecu upgrade. May be wrong though. From what I can remember from it. It is very lean on the info front. Just stamps and ticks. May be mistaken though. It better had been filled in. It was owned by a staff member at the dealers. (Actually bought with cash as opposed to demo car etc)

They often are First Registered to a Dealership Member of staff.

The Finance Manager or the likes.

On the last day of the month like yours, or the day before like mine.

I had to have a look to see yours was not the car on Hardknott with Top Gear,

but it was a Oxford Registered Car, so a Skoda UK HQ Media/Press car.

So there will be offical pictures of it somewhere then? Does this mean its been driven by journo's?

No,

you do not have an Oxford First Registered so likely to have just been delivered to a Dealership.

Forest & Fens.  Nottingham.
