too low suspension!

Featured Replies

I have a mk1 ex police octavia which came with 16 inch tyres and a big front splitter. My problem is that I keep catching the bottom of the car over speed bumps, too high gradients and sometimes potholes. I am thinking of simply putting spring assistors in the front springs to stiffen up the front to take some of the bounce out of the suspension. Does anybody have any other suggestions. I do not want to go to the expense of bigger wheels/tyres.

Post a picture up of the car, the vRS is lower than a standard Octavia anyway and adding spring assistors is a very bad idea and the car will still sit low.

My suggestion is remove the big front splitter

Mines lowered just under 50mm and doesn't have the same splitter as the VRS and I catch the front bumper all the god dam time.

It's kind of funny really, people act very shocked when they hear a nice scrape going on.

Never too low

I hit everything all the time but wouldn't change a thing,I'm pretty low but wouldn't consider it too low but your either a fan of been low or your not lol

Right bugger getting into the car when it's on the road and you're on the pavement though haha
