leather steering wheel

Featured Replies

Hi, anybody know which vw / audi leather steering wheels will fit a 2001 Octavia Elegance TDi? Im after either a 3 or 4 spoke one.

Has anybody done this swap - i.e. is it a straight swap or is anything else needed also?

Will my Skoda 4 spoke airbag fit? (4 spoke wheel obviously)

Cheers.

Why not just go for an L&K leather one

I was trying to source a good second hand one, a L&K one would also be fine, but i would imagine these would be like hens teeth to find ........ unless you know different??

Octavia Vrs? someone had vrs they were breaking a little while ago on here....one leather steering wheel 3 spoke with airbag

is it only the mk4 golf that will fit?

I've been looking to do the same for six months.

There seems to be loads of different VAG 4 spoke wheels so it's very hard to know which will fit when they come up for sale.

A three spoke would be nice but they hardly ever come with airbag.

It's not the plastic that gets me its the V shape of the standard wheel, our Fabia has a plastic wheel but at least the rim is round, chunky and soft.

I'd even pay the full

If i fit a Golf steering wheel, will this work with the Octavia airbag ecu, or will i need the Golf ecu as well?

IMHO, the plastic steeering wheel is pretty nasty looking and lets the whole show down, an L&K one would be nice though.

remember that the 3 spoke wheels dont have audio controls ( i believe some of the 4 ones do ) so if you currently have audio controls on the wheels you'd loose that going to a 3 spoke. could be wrong though...

also what would happen if you got a wheel that has audio controls to replace one that dosent - can you link these to the headunit?
