speedo question :-)

Featured Replies

My vRS is an ex cop car from Carmarthen and has a different speedometer fitted.. It's all black.

Now I've noticed that my clocks read 150mph and all other vRS's read 160mph...

Is this because my Speedo doesn't tell me lies and is bang on (its bang on to Sat nav!)

LOL :-)

Probably faulty clocks are some point in its life with replaced cluster from a non VRS?

If ex cop car it will have a calibrated speedo, that's why it will look different and have 1mph increments on the dial

Yes it says "calibrated by irs norton" at the bottom of the dials

So I take no chances through speed cameras lol

As normal production cars are like 10 percent out. I.e, when you are doing an indicated 30mph in a 30 your true speed is somewhere around 26..
