n75 valve what revision

Featured Replies

hi guys after all my problems with the car surging have been told to change the n75 valve is there a certain revision i should be looking at getting for stage 2 as i see awesome have the ecs valve but have read that its a standard valve that ecs have rebranded if anyone can help with info on the valve i would need it would be much appreciated

To be honest N75's rarely break so your problem is probably something else.

If I got it right the ECS is just an old Audi which reacts differently and spikes the boost higher.

Where are u located bud? If ur local to me then we could meet up and swap n75 valves to help u eliminate it.

thanks Lloyd mate :)

No probs

My stuff usually turns up

Ages after needed but i shall venture out in the garage tomoro

Try one but don't go buying one until you know for sure. If I got it right they like 70 quid to replace.

I have the ECS fitted that cured my spiking on my stage 2 map.

It is not just a std VRS N75 rebranded, it is a different version which is used on the Audi S4's .

It is the version called N75H

The std version in the VRS is N75F I believe

It is a mixed bag on how these valves work in various cars. For me The ECS "H" valve is much better than the "F"

did u run the j version at all before trying the ecs valve mate

No just went from the std to the "H". I believe the "J" is not so strong

I have a "J" valve that I may test but as it runs fine not the fussed

I think on the AUG engine the stock valve is a "F" (and "C" valve on Audi's) and is good to about 1 bar (15 psi).

After that "F" and "C" appear to get a little surging. (well did on mine) and a lot of other folks i know of.

J and H are smooth above 15 psi, and only very seldom I sometimes see a little bounce between 5 and 10 psi with the H valve.
