Fitting disc brakes to a rear drum Fabia?

Featured Replies

Is it physically possible to bolt up disc brakes to a drum equipped fabia, or would it involve a complete swap of rear beam?

Just curious. :)

The rear beams all come with the 2 holes for rear disc carriers.

i did the conversion on my old fabia sdi estate :)

I have ze parts... ;)

Bits you need are:

Discs

pads

carriers

callipers

4x bolts for bolting carriers to the beam

metal disc backing plates

handbrake cables

rear beam brake pipes

thats it.

wheel bearings are the same

Just food for thought, that's all.

Done the swap on the MPI many moons ago for Cheryl. Pretty straight forward.
