Hi,

I'm about to replace the heater resistor - thanks to the previous posts on the subject for giving me the know-how. My query is about the airbag removal. Can I just switch the airbag off, ie turn it off using the key in the side of the dashboard, or should I unplug the battery as well / instead?

Assuming you mean the passenger's airbag, then yes, as long as you turn it off with the key from the side of the dashboard, you'll be fine. I've had to remove mine once and never got any warning lights or fault codes.

No need to disconnect the battery.
