Changing Yeti's

Featured Replies

That is interesting, I must have missed that in the brochure, I know I asked the question at one dealership only to be told it was still just parallel parking (so the original Park Assist).

I've just checked the brochure and it does indeed do both types of parking.

I was just interested to know if the '2' part came in with the new cars or was ever an option on the pre FL?

I didn't say it was; I was responding to Fred, who said he didn't think *Park Assist* was standard on any model.

Perhaps I should have said "all models". It's certainly not fitted to my SE! :giggle:

I've got park assist on my classic Yeti Elegance. It was an option (+£200 on top of £300 for front sensors from memory) and assisted parallel parking was the only option (not bay parking). Don't use it often but it has been handy to squeeze into that "can I, can't I" tight parking space.

I'm not sure about the value of the bay parking facility - if it is too tight to be able to easily park manually is it going to be too tight to get the doors open to get out? (Apart from the risk in a tight parking space of the car doors either side dinging your doors when the owners come back, particularly with the "City" version of the F/L Yeti).

Park assist 2 is standard on the FL L&K.

The difference between the previous version is that Park assist 2 additionally carries out "Bay" parking and will now also steer its way out of the line of parked cars.

This is correct it's in the brochure.

It now has bay park assist and parallel park assist as standard on the L&K.
