Hi! Octavia vRS TDI 2015 - For a while I've been experiencing constant DPF regens - the idle tick over constantly sits at 1K with the radiator fans running for a while after the ignition is turned off. I drive motorway miles daily so it's not a symptom of short trips although on longer 2 trip ~2hrs the Particle Filter warning will appear but clears after ignition reset. I've noticed the regens are having a massive impact on fuel economy (only managing ~350 miles on a full tank when previously

Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help

I thought it would be useful to create this separate topic and collate information as now Infotainment Software Version 1969 is out in the wild I imagine user interest will increase. I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration.
