Hi from Ireland

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have been driving a toyota hilux single cab pickup for 5 years, but does not suit me anymore as it has 2 seats and my labrador is giving out about it.

Ordered a new Yeti 2 weeks, approx 12-14 weeks delivery time.
I went for the 2.0 Liter Diesel Outdoor, 4x4 170 bhp one, with 6 speed gearbox one.

I am ordering a black one, with rough road kit, heated windscreen, sportseats, satnav, tow bar, mdi, all road tyres, racechip (racechip.de)  and K&N Induction Airfilter
Am in process of tweaking some gadgets for it, i asked the dealer if I could get 16 inch alloys on them rather then the 17 inch ones. Anyway there be bit of a wait but very happy about the forthcoming change

I have a black lab, 4 years old in october, it is a search and rescue dog. (human remains detection)

I do volunteer work for a statutory irish search and rescue organisation. I get called out where people are missing and presumed not longer alive.

I shall use the yeti for same, thats why I want some off road ability and setup. You can see my Hilux  and the dog 0n: www.facebook.com/Civildefencek9unit

Hope to turn it into "search and rescue" vehicle with uhf/vhf radio,s on board and blue lights, sourcing new vhf/uhf/marine radio, roof rack for antenna's and spotlights.
