I HAVE JST BOUGHT SKODA SUPERB 2014 IN INDIA , WHN I INSTALLED LED LIGHT I GOT A ERROR IN DASH , PLEASE HELP HOW TO  FIX THIS ISSUE M NOT THT TECNICAL SOUND WITH SMD'S N ALL . PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME WITH A EASY WAY OUT . 

need to have resistors fitted between the numberplate light and the wiring loom plug going to it

If you can't recode your car to allow for LED bulbs, you have to fit resistors to simulate the load of a normal W5W bulb. Both normal bulbs combined are 10 watts but the LEDs will be a combined 2-4 watts maximum. The on board electronics misinterpret this as a faulty bulb.

Here is an example of the resistors you have to install with the LEDs to fool the car into thinking all is well.

HEY THNKS  FOR THE INFO MAN I GOT THE MEANING OF RESISTOR BUT IN INDIA WE DONT HVE SUCH TECNICAL PLP TO UNDSTAND HOW TO FIT THM N ALL.. :S  , INFACT THE LED LIGHTS WE GET HERE ARE  INDIVIDUAL BULBS ,  N ITS  CONSIDER  A RISKY WRK  TO PLAY WITH ORIGNAL WIREING  AS SKODA WONT TAKE NE REPOSIBILITY IN CASE OF NE SENSER FAILER OR ODER ISSUE .  IS DER ANY LED WITH BUILD IN RESISTOR THT CAN BE FITTED DIRECTLY  PLS SEND A LINK OF THE SAME  ON  EBAY OR NE ODER WEBSITE  WIL BE HELPFULL  

 

I EVEN WANT TO CHANGE THE AMBIENT LIGHTS  IS THE  SAME ISSUE WITH THM TO OR NORMAL LED CAN BE INSTALLED .WITH OUT ERROR N STUFF. :(

I just ordered these ....

does the combi leds fit in 2014 superb indian spec. 

 

 robbo cop pls send a link of leds with resistor  for 2014 superb so even i  can  order thm .

According to the Superskoda on-line shop, the LED number plate fittings won't fit the facelift model. I ordered the fittings as in the link above.

The only way would be to fit resistors or another bulb inside the housing ... Tricky by can be done. I found some info on Google.
