Silver / Aluminium Fabia VRS door colours

Featured Replies

Quick question

Anyone else looked at a silver / aluminum Fabia I and think the front and rear door colours dont match?

Initially I thought it was just mine but doing a google image search for "fabia vrs silver" it seems common. Seems more obvious at some angles that others.

Or am I going mad?

If it is the case, that they look different, anyone know why?

Colour matches fine on mine.

You can notice a difference in the wings and front bumper at certain angles and lights.

Paint takes differently to plastic and metal, ever looked at the green mk2 focus RS's? Prime example their bumpers are a different colour to the rest of the car lol

Yeah a difference in colours on different materials wouldn't surprise me too much but the front and rear doors are presumably both made of the same thing...

It seems noticeable to me on several of the photos here (not all of them).

The front and rear doors are different on my silver Fab (drivers side) because Skoda resprayed the rear door and it's a very poor colour match. The passenger side is all the same though.
