What is the cheapest asking price you have seen this month for a Demonstrator,

Hatch or Estate at a Skoda Dealership.?

& what is the Highest Price you have seen a Skoda Dealer Asking?

Slightly outside your parameters but the best price for a 1300 mile Demo at the very end of last month was £11990 for a hatch.  Pretty much a standard car but Met paint with black alloy.

Dealer at Grimsby-Westgate.

Note! Dropped £2k in about 1,5 months

'vrskeith',  cheers,

some pretty nice '14 plate' ones among those you forwarded to me.

Quite a variety of prices being asked around the country, but there are certainly bargains to be had.

Not thinking of acquiring another yourself are you,George?

I didn't pay that new for an estate with several options and a 5 year warranty, that's shocking!

They are at prices with demo miles and one dealership owner where some dealerships need to get real with the price of used cars they have sitting. I like the simple cave car interior. But c t h e performance is nice.

Some bargain cheap prices for the cash buyer. I presume tho that if you are looking for a PCP the demos won't be eligible for the 0% APR so you will end up paying used-car finance rates which will whack the payments and overall cost up?

Meteor Grey (Solid) is another story & a diffent price option.

Metal Metallic Grey was/is available.

Meteor Grey (Solid) is another story & a diffent price option.

Metal Metallic Grey was/is available.

I ordered metal metallic grey or platin grey as the order form was worded last year, then meteor grey turned up, was told that orders placed (with factory) for platin/metallic grey after week 37 defaulted to meteor grey without warning, the dealer gave me three options, 1 refund deposit and walk away, 2 correct the price for the paint and take the meteor grey car, 3 order in another colour but metallic/platin grey is not available as an option, ahh but its on the online configurator I hear you say, the dealer said that the configurator has not been updated (I haven't checked it recently to be far though) so I went with silver. Are you saying metallic/platin grey has always been an option???

*edit* the point I was trying to get across was if metallic/platin grey was discontinued on 37 last year and not returned to the option list then this would date stamp the car to have been sitting around unregistered for around six months, only been registered to get the numbers come right. If this rings true then the £15,995 asking price is pie in the sky for a cash buyer armed with this information... No?

Cars could have sat unregistered during 2013-2014  (63 plate period,)

and would usual get First Registered in the First Quarter 2013,

pre March 14 Plate,

But if they were in stock for ages and only registered after February and 14 plate, it was still First Registered & on the road from March,  so New & now a Demonstrator/Pre Reg.

If it matters how long cars sit Unregistered, then people need to look at build dates and delivery dates and First Register Dates,

It does not ever concern me, they are new or nearly new.

Skoda only sold 66,000 in the UK (32,000 Fabia) in 2013, they do not have loads of cars in compounds,

they have a Black Hole ordering system and cars are transported pretty soon after being built.

and then arrive at dealerships.

Paint Colours and Dealers has never been a science,

just something they talk about and really then they bluff their way though depending on what turns up.

(I have never yet seen the name 'Platin Grey' on a Configurator,

but plenty of the Other names for Metallic Grey from 2010-now.)

I bought mine from stock last month and the dealer let me see exactly what was available sitting at the docks for all dealers to pick from.  There were only 4 VRS'sss.  Two white estates, one red estate and a white hatch, that was it.  They all had various options.  It doesn't seem that there are many sitting around unless dealers have ordered them in but then can't shift them.  It could have been due to the new 14 plate though when I signed the deal.  I would have preferred metallic or pearlescent etc. but I could only get a flat colour from stock.  The discount was the deal sealer in the end.

PMSL.

I love the Dark Chrome Gigaro.

they get white Spider & Skoda give you new ones before the Warranty is out, and you can then sell them new to someone that likes them,

and buy some other wheels for your car.

Skoda Chav like alloys appeal to me as a tight Scots person.

PS.

Easy & not expensive to have the Dark Chrome Gigaro re-finished in what ever Colour you like,

and keep the Bead Edge as it is.

new estate in the dealers today at £18,200! :o paid £15,200 for mine!

My local dealer had a 13 plate std spec albeit with white rook & wheels with 3K miles for £13K.

George,

Slightly outside your thread spec but non the less interesting.

Hortons of Lincoln Dealership have had a Rally Green black roof and alloys , looks like their demo. 13 plate, was £14440 NOW WANTING TO SHIFT AT £11990 wonder why- cash flow or just an embarrassment to be sat there going nowhere fast.

Unfortunately for them

However,it may do now!! VFM

Cheers,

probably like many of these 13 plates sitting around Skoda Dealers,

needing new Discs Fitted before going to an new owner, as the originals are already pitted and scored,

and it has been getting filled up with 95 ron Unleaded, and being thrashed from cold.

Buyers Market out there.

? Did you see the one i mentioned in your WBAC Offer Thread.

2010, Green, Black Roof and Black Gigaro, 22,000 miles, 'Asking Price', £7,195,

Bargain if it is a good one.

Yeah, sorry I did read that.

Looks a bit overpriced compared to my Partner's WBAC Valuation.

Mind you her car does have 42000 on the clock, new engine pending etc.

If it's a good one it's a bargain. 80% chance / black or red!!
