A long way to see a Yeti

Featured Replies

Hello.

I don't have a Skoda - yet. I tried once, 13 years ago, but the dealers had none to sell, and I got a Golf estate instead, which is now showing its age, although nothing's actually wrong with it. But now I fancy a Yeti.

The only snag has been trying to find out about them, see one or two, and try one out. Skoda don't send a brochure or arrange a test drive when you fill in their on-line forms. My nearest dealer is 100 miles away from this part of Argyll. So I can only peer into the few I spot in car parks and hope not to frighten the owners if they come back while I'm admiring their cars.

But I went to Paisley on Wednesday to a dealer who had some in stock. Now I'm back home and puzzling over models and options, and I hope to discover through this forum some of the answers that the sales team didn't know, and then make a quick decision.

PS - I hadn't known that my plastic driving licence wasn't good enough to have a test drive, so it was frustrating to only sit in stationary cars or make the 200 mile round trip back home to fetch the paper licence.

Hello DH  :hi:

I won't be adverse to having a Yeti next either - good luck with your search!
