Hi Guys,

 

I have a P0226 - intermittant throttle position sensor fault. Its driving me crazy having to keep restarting the car. (2007 VRS TDI BMN engine)

 

I have pulled the TPS apart, its clean and all looks good to me. As does the connector. Ross Tech recommends lookign at the O2 sensors first. So can someone enlighten me as o where these are?

 

I knew the Non PD engines so well after 11 years of owning them, these new PPD engines are doing my head in.

Not that anyone replied, but i think i fixed it....

 

took the throttle pedal unit off, took it apart cleaned everything, although it all looked clean and not had the fault since!
