Hi

 

My geartsick side to side movement in neutral is much stiffer than other cars.

It doesn't really spring back to the center position.

I have removed the gater around the Gearstick and it all seems normal and clean with springs in place and nothing I can see to make it stiffer.

 

Fabia 1.4 petrol

 

Any advice, to what this could be or is this normal?

Either the cables worn or the linkage starting to go stiff. Pop bonnet. Clean up the linkage + spray sum WD40 etc on + around the linkage at the top of the gearbox whilst freeing it all up (moving it back + forth/ up+ down etc).
