Hi - my wife took delivery yesterday of a new 1.6 SE  Diesel DSG.   Hugely impressed with the car and on the first day got 55 to gallon mixed driving with 55 miles on the clock!  This is the first car I have had with stop-start and found it a bit quick to turn off (waiting at a roundabout for a couple of seconds) and then it starting again. Does anyone know how to alter the timing so it says waits for say 10 seconds before stopping?

If you stop without fully depressing the brake then the engine will keep running.

+1   If you stop and keep your foot lightly on the brake it will keep running. You will get used to it after a few times.
