Mods on PCP

Featured Replies

Finally getting my sport in about a month and I have a list of mods I like to do like arch liners and mud flaps etc nothing to serious.

Does anyone know what are you aloud to do in terms of mods if the car is on PCP

Mods like arch liners or mudflaps will have no impact on a pcp. I doubt the dealer would even notice you'd done them!

I'd guess it also depends on what you will do at the end of the pcp...

Read the T&C's that you have signed. It will have a section on what modifications are not permitted.

If you are keeping the car after the payments end then it's not going to matter anyway.

Secondly, I woud imagine that if you did make any modifications to the car, then the dealer may deem the value of the car lower, resulting in less equity remaining at the end of the term.
