Back in the Yeti fold

Featured Replies

Having had an early 1.2 SE DSG, which we had to sell shortly afterwards for personal reasons, we have always had a yearning for another. We have had 2 Roomsters in the meantime, a 1.9 and a 1.6, both trouble-free and very practical cars.

With the FL arriving, we have been looking out for a low mileage pre-FL, as we like the distinctive fog lamp 'eyes'. I have kept up with Yeti news on the forum, and noted The Plumbers info on the timing chain mods in late 2011 which was very useful, so aimed for a 2012 model. We also wanted DSG again, and an S model, as we are happy with less technology and smaller wheels, and slightly lower price.

Apart from fitting a spare wheel kit(very simple even for me!), it has fully lived up to our expectations, and love the Petrol Blue colour. Tony

From a first time Yeti owner, welcome back.

I to find this forum a valuable source of information when choosing our new model. I did however go for the facelift, although wouldn't have bothered me either way. I like the look of them both and underneath, almost the same.

Enjoy.
