Getting your eye in...

Featured Replies

I've no commercial interest in this at all, but think this might be of interest to any VRS owners or those, like me, waiting to have mine built and delivered.

Probably worth it for saving your tyres alone!

I've been round on two fast laps as thruxton is on my door step and all I can say is its a eye opener !!!)

Looks like fun. I've done a couple of their race car days in the past and enjoyed them immensely.

I done two v fast laps in vrs about 2 weeks ago it was in a petrol est they also have a diesel est vv quick )

Ooooh me want! (Seeing as I am not going to rag mine round to that extent plus mine is a dirty diesel lol) might have to signpost te big fella to see this!

Not a bad deal (although a read of the small print says you have to build it first, and that takes 7 months).

Damn shame this is only at thruxton which is way too far for me to go otherwise I'd do it for sure.

The missus went in the professionally driven VRS yesterday and said it was a real eye opener as to just how sorted the mk3 Octavia is. £20 for a hot lap isn't bad.

That said, I should have done it as well, to compare to the hot laps I got with Tiff Needel at the wheel of an M3. I wonder how different it would have been.
