TVR v munny

Featured Replies

Was in a garage I do work for yesterday, and they had a TVR in there, on a 'P' plate up for £12,000!!

Surely the 1 was a mistake? :D

..... ...or the 2 even?

Re-read the OP...".I WAS IN A GARAGE I DO WORK FOR.................."

Think you'll find this along with tens of thousands of other cars for sale are freely available for all to see at the touch of a couple of buttons.

It's NOT my car, and has absolutely nothing to do with me whatsoever. I was merely having a rather tepid attempt at raising a bit of a smile amongst the collective.

Lock it/delete it then  if you think it;s SO bloody  inappropriate.

Tis pretty tho

Sunshine weighting ?

They are great Summer cars.

Where the TVR betters the Skoda without doubt is when they break down and become uneconomic to repair.

You can just park the TVR an the garden and the kids can use it as a Sand Pit, or paddling pool.

Even turn it into a Hot Tub.

With the Skoda parked off the street, and being broken for parts,

the neighbours just think you are lowering the class of the area.

I went around the TVR factory in Blackpool  whilst they were still building cars.

What an absolute time warp of a place! :o

Loves how on a skoda site u try and show what the cars capable of , not saying it's all in all quicker in every way but held its own having half the power , everyone jumps on you saying your a bull****ter, be different If I came on here saying my 1.2 fiesta just beat a vrs , I would get that

I think this is up there with the 2.0l fabia mustang slayer.

The TVR was broken or the owner was taking the pi55 or can't drive.

That is all

For goodness sake

I have absolutely NOTHING to do with that car for sale, and couldn't give a jot if it stays there rotting away until hell freezes over, which at that price, it possibly will.

...and yes, I am actually starting to get 'tetchy' now.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

One of our regulars by the name of Mil who lived in the Middle East (Dubai I believe) insisted that his 2.0 litre Fabia beat a shiny new Mustang in a race, and not just beat him but "took him like a king"....

Nobody was convinced, though he was actually a real nice chap and a very talented musician.

Cheers zoidberg, ive often thought wtf are they on about. Was a 2.0l fabia standard in dubai or was it a transplant

The 2.0 petrol was a standard engine in the Mk1 and may even have been badged as the VRS over there as there isn't much point in a TDI where fuel is so cheap and it's so hot.

Surely it would of been the 8v engine?

Drive past everyday. Still TVR's parked outside as there is a service and bodyshop place. Also the TVR cafe which is brilliant for fans.
