Hi, having successfully removed the straddling pin and dowel from the window lifter of my Fabia 1 07 I am now ready to fit it back in, I have tried this only to lose the dowel into the door out the back of the fixing position. Does anyone have a method of fitting these and if you do would you share it with me?

Yea, it is designed to be fitted to the glass first, then just wind the mechanism up until it pops into place, the mechanism has a large taper to allow this to happen
