  • V nice guys.

  • Must be where Muscovado Yetis from West Yorkshire go for their holidays - we were there a week ago. Sorry to hear about the stone chips :( Oh and sorry for another thread hijack - oops

  • It got another coat today too! And it wasn't the only R36 there either as a silver estate turned up.

Some of the Audi Whites seem to achieve a nice wet look it must be said....

My rule: sealant on light colours will work better

Having said that, I'm currently using sealant on my car with superb results...might try a topper of my 'grey, whisky scented' wax after this trip

Talking of Whisky.... Alan.... have you got any left?!?  :giggle:

Funny you should say that ! I had run out but today treated myself to some 12year Glenlivet malt £24 at Asda , not a bad price

Collinite 845 on white or silver works great.

Another update on this great product. After detailing SWMBO's car with the Britemax AIO, EE and MS;

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/316252-britemax-products-extreme-elements-and-maxshine/

I have now topped it up with 2 coats of Vantage wax.  The results are great..... very slick and shiny!

As stated on first review.... easy on and easy off; no fuss

(Car was washed with Mr Pink too..... which does help..... as per the product shot in the pic!)

Just can't get enough of this stuff..... so easy on and off.

Gave SWMBO's car a quick detail last night.... finished off with another coat of Vantage wax.

Also wanted to test my new black edgeless microfibre towels from CarPro.... pretty good,

but i think the Orange version is more of a bargain. Glad i ordered another 10 of those too

Nice ste, it's like a mirror!

If I didn't have so many waxes to use I would have bought some.

Did you get it from Simon at ishine?

  • Author

Thanks for the comment Carl.... yes - i got it from Simon when it was on sale at iShine.

Absolute bargain price as well. I'm about 50% way into the tub.... it's done a few cars now.

I know what you mean though...... a few other waxes still to be tested.... watch this space!  ;)

Thought to resurrect this thread on Britemax products.... which I haven't used in a while; but came up trumps on this BMW 7-series.

Blackmax polish followed by Vantage wax - two of the easiest products I have ever used

Oh that does look great, I hope I can get mine looking that glossy. I can see this cleaning lark is going to be addictive & an expensive hobby.

Great products for not too much money. I think I got most of my Britemax gear from Simon at iShine Car Care

Again - we have a forum discount code you can apply.

Vantage wax is very easy on and off; you can apply to the whole car - then easily follow back round to buff off.

Not known for being extremely durable - but very glossy and works well on VAG Black Magic paint for sure.

One of my favourite summer waxes :sun:
