Buying Advice

My Advice for buying cars either new or used- Contact several dealers once you have deceided what you want - know your prices and haggle.

I have purchased new cars  many times over the past 25 years and numerous dealers told me that the car/spec I wanted was not available at my price. Walk away if you are being messed about and contact another. The easy way is to email the 20 nearest and wait for the phone to ring... 15 minutes work and you will save thousands!

My Octy III was delivered to my front door so do think out of area. Your warranty is with Skoda and once sold its the aftersales that will do the work regardless of where you bought your car.

End of month/quarter/year are the best times to buy if you are not in a hurry.

Dealers will try to sell you GAP insurance and Lifeshine. If you want these they are available at HALF the dealership cost elsewhere.

You can pay for convenience but for an hour or twos "work" you will save a few thousand.

Its a jungle out there.
