How the chuff did that get there?

Featured Replies

Found this . . . . . ga6yquse.jpg

In here . . . . 3agyru3e.jpg

Small bit of thin looking metal right under the oil filler cap. It was rather hot and resting just under the plastic fin things. Any ideas? What it is or how it even got there?

Probably this. I found the cap off an oil bottle half melted lying inside my engine bay.

How did that Pair of Tweesers get down there, they look far too big

Yup foil cap from oil change

Rather slap dash

Yeah, it's the foil seal from a bottle of oil.

My initial thoughts but the stuff generally on top of oil bottles is quite thin and this is thicker than it looks [emoji53]

(Plus it is perfectly round, well when it's not crumpled up)
