Connects 2 on Stream head unit

Featured Replies

Can someone recommend one of those ''Connects 2'' systems (or similar) that will work with Stream head unit non MP3, Got the CD interchanger in the boot but i assume there is not aux output on the basic Stream unit, And are these anygood?.. Thanks Guys..

I fitted one of these to my non mp3 stream on an 06 octy a few years ago on the recommendation of someone on here. Do it, you won't be disappointed. I bought it 2nd hand on eBay for £15 and the sound was amazing, much better than I expected. You will lose the CD changer but who needs 6 discs when you can plug your phone / mp3 player in with your whole music collection?

This is the one you need: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Connects2-CTVSKX003-Skoda-Octavia-05-13-Car-Aux-In-iPhone-iPod-Interface-Adaptor-/171036441539?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item27d290fbc3

Should be quite a few results on it if you search the forum.

Fitting is pretty straight-forward, just need to earth it properly, there's a handy torx screw right behind the HU you can use. Some pics in my Flickr stream:

Yes, that is the exact same one that I fitted at the time and if I recall correctly, it was on the recommendation of chr1s above.
