Well had a some time on my hard today and managed to map launch control on to my vrs.

Set it at 2400rpm pulls off well set like that. Here's a video of it

Works well coupled with a LSD

 

Faboka put it on mine, set at 2500rpm with a soft cut limiter.

 

By the sounds of yours its hard cut?

That launch won't produce any useable boost, it's all noise and no go!

After getting the boost gauge fitted I realised that the hard cut launch was all noise and no go lol. Yes it will set off quickly but isnt actually boosting all that well.

When I had my boost gauge installed I'm sure it was holding about 0.6 or 0.8 I can't remember which now but as said it was holding steady boost

That's because made you have a soft limiter .  Hard limiters don't build boost.

But how do I set up a soft limiter? That's what I'm trying to work out?

Needs to be done my someone that can alter your map

Iv got all the software here hence why I manged to add it my self anyway just can work out how to make it not bounce.

Pay Someone like Faboka to do it for you

i dont mind paying but i wanted to learn all about mapping ect myself as always been intrested in doing it for my self i know quite abit about it all this is just stumping me a tad lol

leave column at 2247 at 100

change the column at 2500rpm to 70

change the column at 2501rpm to 30

leave column at 2502 at 0

 

you might want to increase the rpm range the launch works for i have mine upto 15kph

 

have a play around with the figures in those 2 middle columns and maybe try 15 @ 2501rpm

if Faboka replies he might suggest different but with the above you will get rid of the hard limit (on/off effect)

Learn what the map is actually doing/requesting then think about what you need to do then try it. If it doesn't work stop and have a think again about what's happening.
