Scout owners with hill-hold

Featured Replies

Have planned to get hill-hold to my MY08 4x4 TDI PD so does anyone know correct abs control unit that i should have/change to activate it?

Have read something about some sensor that control unit should have but dont know more so if someone could tell me more???

You need to know the part number of the abs controller to work out if it is possible.

Has anyone had it just coding it?

Mine is a MY07 and the abs controller can't do it.

This is the ABS module in my 2008 Scout which does have hill hold:

Address 03: ABS Brakes        Labels: 1K0-614-517-MK60-A.lbl
   Part No SW: 1K0 614 517 AD    HW: 1K0 614 517 AD
   Component: ESP 4MOTION MK60-AT 0102
   Revision: 00H14001
   Coding: 0023170
   Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00000
   VCID: 69DDFA074062C3B

No fault code found.

Have a look at this thread for a list of modules with and without HHC etc.  I have a feeling I had found another list, but I can't find it at the moment.
