A mate's new Ford Mondeo Ghia Estate 2.0 DCi 128 bhp.

Looks? Very nice outside.Silver with mesh grill colour coded.Bonnet and lower.Chrome door handles too.(Hmm.Wonder what my silver octy would look like with the mesh done :rubchin: ).Roof rails he has had sprayed silver.Privacy glass for the rear.Overall looks the business.

Inside? Skoda wins hands down with the octavia II (and 1 as well I reckon).Seats nice but cloth material,switchgear etc much prefer skoda.BUT.the stereo is flippin lovely.Sony unit that is a cracker (integrated job but I understand people are making the effort to steal these from fords :thumbdwn: )

Engine/ride? Nice ride but after driving over to his house in the fabia then getting in the mondeo it felt very flat.Not quick at all.Probably needs the 153 bhp 2.2 jobby out of the 2.2 DCi ST.

Worth

128 horses isnt alot for a mondeo is it, it's a fairly big car too

My old Primera SVE had a 2.2 TD engine that produces 124 BHP and that was a big motor as well albeit rather slow.
