Britemax AIO-MAX - Review/recommendation

Featured Replies

Hi All - decided to launch into a detailing frenzy last night after work. SWMBO's car was in dire need of some attention it seemed.

Recently i have stocked up on Britemax product on sale at iShine; plus also took delivery of some new polishing pads for testing too.

Reason for choosing this product:-

One-step cleaner, polish and wax - ideal for spending less time on her car; more time on mine!

As with most Britemax products i have chosen - good price and easy to use.

Tested on a 2011 Seat Exeo with Black Magic paint - using Megs G220v2 DA with green waffle pad.

Preparation was Standard 2BM wash; then de-tar and decontaminate prior to using Britemax.

Can dried with new XXL White Monster towel and blow drier for nooks and crannies.

The results were very good and you do not need to use a lot of product once pad is primed and running.

No dust or debris to speak of - product breaks down and absorbs completely with a simple microfibre wipedown to finish.

PRO's:-

- Amazing finish for little effort

- Quick and a great time-saver

- low cost one step product

CON's:-

- None that i found on the day

Alas - by the time i finished and put all my kit away, gel'd the tyres and BSD on alloys etc; it was too dark for any pictures.

All in from start to finish.... approx 2 hours work on my own; with some interruptions here and there from family and neighbours.

Needless to say - SWMBO was very happy when she went to work today and the car was looking mint!

OK.... got a picture of the car when SWMBO got in tonight - so thought to complete the thread.

Even after a few miles and slight pollen/dust cover - car looks fab.... :sun:

Nice write up and work

Looks like fair amount of pollutants came out judging by the pad

Appreciate the comment Chris.

Most of the pollutants came off the bumpers and sills - which i did last of course.

Good review - could this be used by hand as opposed to by a polisher?

Allegedly suitable for both hand or machine application. Same with most of the Britemax range.... Extreme elements, Max Shine, etc.

Top stuff IMO.

Sounds good. Thanks

Meant to ask - what's the price point of this?

I got it in the last iShine sale to be honest.  £12.50 for 473ml and you don't use a lot either.

But even so - with his 10% discount - i think about £14 or so.

The bargain purchase is the 3.78L tubs of Britemax from i4detailing if you intend to stick with a Britemax product.

Also - just to add:  10% off i4detailing this Bank Holiday weekend upto midnight 5th May!

Minimum spend is £29.99 excluding delivery.

Code:  MAY14

Yes Carl - i think the Easter 20% discount did clear quite a lot of stock at iShine!
