Black magic blackline

Featured Replies

Hi guys I'm a novice to detailing but am interested in taking it up have a black magic vrs blackline and currently using autoglym super resin polish then dodo juice purple haze pro which I think contains some sealant as well as wax is this the way to go or poor boys black hole and nattys paste wax or can anybody recommend other products cheers post-57926-0-32223300-1398867486_thumb.jpg

I cannot offer any advice, but lovely car mate!!

Either combination works

Bear in mind though, that AGSRP is really only a cleaner polish with a small abrasive content, fills swirls and contains a small amount of sealer

Therefore a wax on top of that will be fine

PBBH is a Glaze which ideally should be used after a light polish..it too contains fillers but MUST be topped with a wax or sealer a few hours afterwards

Hope this helps

Good luck

Lovely car and black is a a great pleasure to polish up.

Only thing i would check - how did you find the AG-SRP dust when using/polishing?

Always the annoyance for me.

Have a look at some of the Britemax products which i'm certainly a big fan of at the moment.

Just used the Britemax AIO on my girlfriends Black Magic Seat Exeo with great results and got some

Black Max to test on my car soon....

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the results - whatever products you go with

With many of the AG range - the less the better. If you are getting dusting then you are using too much, SRP will work much better and be easier to buff off with a thin layer. The more product you put on the more dust it creates and makes buffing off more difficult.

I haven't much of the Britemax range - only the metal polish twins

I believe the new formula AGSRP is less dusty...but its not something I use..or will use again TBH

A similar type product (AIO) I do use is Carlack 68...more sealer than SRP but, zero dust

Also a big fan of the Metal Twins from Britemax. So happy with how that works and seals the R36 exhausts.

On AGSRP, always dusty.... No matter how much or how little product, in my experience. Although my experience is of the old formula a few years ago for sure.

Zero dust on the Britemax AIO test yesterday, which was very pleasing indeed.
