how much louder do they make ur car.

Will it still pass the mot?

How much does it typically cost

Finally Where can I get the exhaust tip and has any seen a fabia with a single round exit say 2.5 inch outwardly rolled? How does it look?

Mine failed on the mot for having it last week. Absolutely gutted.

Mines passed twice on the mot. Mines got a straight thru exhaust. Seen a fabia with a single round pipe out the back and thought it looked good. Not too sure how a rolled tip would look though.

Dan, what did it fail on? How loud would u say it makes it? I've watched videos online but its still hard to get an idea

When I had the piper without silencers it was 99db at castle Combe @. 3.5k in neutral.

Compared to 93db for the piper with silencer @3.75k in neutral at brands hatch

hes not on about the cat he's talking about the back box, that's what a mufflerectomy is, back box removed and a straight pipe put in place. Mine passed but got an advisory for being loud and I've got no cat or back box

I done this last week, it's sounded terrible and out box back on. Sounded like a 106 with no exhaust system lol.

I had a mufflerectomy on mine which passed the MOT, I was still running a cat though.

Get the bore made larger to 2.5" and will sound quite nice.

I've got a 3" rolled out tip on. Any smaller would look abit **** as the exhaust cut out is quite big, I was toying with putting a 4" rolled out back box on off a rs turbo but though it would look ridiculous. Putting a 3" inward rolled back box on over the weekend hopefully to try and get rid of the whistle on idle. If you decat it I'd probably get a box in as they sound like a jet engine on idle but on boost it sounds the tits
