Variable/False boot floor - Mk2 Estate...

Featured Replies

I have the variable floor in my Elegance estate, but i've never actually used the space inside it, so thinking of selling it on...i have a small, young dog and 2 kids under 10 so i don't think it'll ever be used as an ease of access thing...plus the extra available space would be handy as our pushchair is quite large!

Question is, what kinda value do they hold if in very good condition? I see they're around £200 from Skodaparts! Also, is the Mk2 Octavia the same as the Mk5 Golf estate? No idea whether the Golf came with a false floor??

I've seen them being given away free or up to £50 on this forum if that helps.

You'll also have a lighter car as the whole kit is quite heavy.

Depending upon where you are (for collection) and how much, I may be interested.

£50 sounds about right, I find it good for hiding all my junk but it does rob your boot space

Going on ebay "ended" auctions, they seem to be between £50-75, so £50 was my thought. I'll take it out and check condition, but being an ex-police commuter car I don't think it had any use!

It could prove useful, but I'd prefer the space for kid stuff and shopping!

And im in Norwich KB, so a fair distance!

Thanks. I don't head that Far East I'm afraid.

hello, to sell items on here, as stated above you need to be a freedom member which is by annual subscription or by a £4 one off fee, as you have now ascertained it's value i'm going to close this topic.
