Featured Replies

hi was wondering if anyone have heard of these before there a great bit of kit i have ordered one already. could come in handy one day let me know what you think.

Product Options

The ResQMe is also available in high-visibility yellow.

Product Description

New product release! The ResQMe is like a mini LifeHammer that fits on your keychain!

Similar to the LifeHammer, the ResQMe is designed to break vehicle side windows and cut through jammed seatbelts.

The window breaker is a spring-loaded metal spike. When pressed against a side window the spring releases and the metal tip shatters the glass allowing you and your family to escape. The spike is automatically reset after use and can be reused many times. (Approximately 12 lbs. of force is required to release the spike.)

The blade guard attaches to your keychain and protects against unintended use. When attached to your keychain the ResQMe stays firmly in place, yet detaches easily with a sharp tug when necessary. To use the seat belt cutter, hook over the seat belt and pull.

Features

- Hardened steel tip

it doesent hurt you even if it goes off accidently, according to the manufacturer

I bet it could make your eye's water :D

So it's strong enough to shatter glass , but soft enough not to hurt

sadly its probably used more to steal stuff from peoples cars :(

I picked up one of the combined window smashers and seat belt cutters from Halfords. Only cost a few quid, but is nice and handy in the car, should I need it :D

Wouldn't this encourage youngsters to go buy one and then go and break into cars, or does it not work from the outside? Sounds like a perfect present for any young ch@v car thief...

I carry a similar thing, but pen sized and without the belt cutter (got a knife for that!) when I'm working doing my 'weekend job'. Not had to use it yet, but no doubt handy should the need ever arise. Seems like a good idea to carry something similar in the car - you never know when you might come across an RTC or be involved in one and need to get yourself or somebody else out...

It'll save the NHS a fortune...it looks like a DIY vasectomy kit....whack your n*ts into numbness and snip off the sachel all in one quick 'bending over' movement....

Carrying a brick or screwdriver will get thier collars felt for 'Going Equipped to steal', but possessing a spark plug the charge would be the lesser count of 'Going Equipped to service'
