Hi, I'm picking up a 2004 (53) Octavia Elegance in a couple of weeks.

I am changing from an Audi A3.

The Audi has a sub woofer (albeit a pretty poor one), which was hidden behind the left rear side panel in the boot, between the wheel arch and the rear light cluster.

Do Skoda's have a sub woofer, or you you just get a standard set of (6 ?) speakers?

Knowing the location of the speakers would be nice to know too.

Nope , the old shape octavia never had a sub as standard , just the speakers in the front doors (woofers & tweeters) and the rear ones with the tweeter in the door and the woofer by the side of the parcel shelf.

If you like listening to good sounds in the car then you will junk all the Octavia's ICE.

The Head Unit produces hardly any bass and has something like 4X8W IIRC.
